Ladysmith: a hidden jewel of Vancouver Island

What a sweet marina and what a sweet town! Located right on the 49th parallel, this is one of our favorite stops on the way up to Alaska. The marina is great, clean, and safe. Stuff is very knowledgeable and accommodating, showers by are donations only, and the food in cafe right on the water is awesome! Of course, add some great beer from local micro-breweries and you have a winning combo!
